<p>The Diamonds North Tunerq nickel showing is located in the Pelly Bay area of Nunavut, a short distance southwest of the Amerik kimberlite showings operated by Diamonds North. I spent approximately a month overseeing an RC drilling program which involved logging, mapping, 3D AutoCAD work and <a href="https://geologistforhire.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/07/Tunerq-RC-drilling-program-May-2008-Reduced.pdf">report</a> writing.</p><p> </p><p>The mineralization is hosted in a mafic-ultramafic intrusive containing variable amounts of disseminated to net textured to massive pyrrhotite & chalcopyrite. Assay results were as high as 2.49% Ni and 0.56% Cu over 9.1m. </p>
